System Management

Vigilant.IT can deliver a consistent and comprehensive set of Cloud capabilities across enterprise Private, Hybrid, and Public Cloud, with Microsoft’s System Center 2016, Windows Azure Pack, or public cloud offerings from service providers using Microsoft Azure Stack or Pack. We have a knowledge of System Center that is probably un-matched by most other vendors, with special expertise in Configuration Manager, Data Protection Manager, Virtual Machine Manager and Operations Manager which we have multi tenanted to allow clients all the benefits of SCOM without the complexity of the infrastructure. Our own Infinitis (Microsoft Certified) Private Cloud has Microsoft’s System Center Management at its core, and we can bring the knowledge and expertise to your implementation of System Center in your Data Center.

Log Analytics helps you collect, correlate, search, and act on log and performance data generated by operating systems and applications. It gives you real-time operational insights using integrated search and custom dashboards to readily analyze millions of records across all your workloads and servers regardless of their physical location.

You can easily add solutions to Log Analytics that define data to be collected and the logic for its analysis. Solutions may include additional functionality that is automatically delivered to agents with minimal or no configuration. In addition to using analysis tools provided by individual solutions, you can perform custom searches across the entire dataset to correlate data between systems and applications. With OMS Log Analytics Solutions Packs you can use out of the box or customise for your environment. AD Assessment, VMware, SQL server, Wire Data, Security and Audit and much more. To complete your Hybrid Cloud Management Solution, use Microsoft Intune a cloud-based Enterprise Mobility Management service that service that can be integrated with SCCM and helps enable your workforce to be productive while keeping your corporate data protected. The key features of Intune are:

  • Manage any Mobile Device your workforce uses to access company data.

  • Manage the Mobile Applications your workforce uses.

  • Protect your company information by helping to control the way your workforce accesses and shares that information.

  • Ensure the Devices and Applications are compliant with company cyber security requirements.

Intune integrates closely with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity and access control, and Azure Rights Management (Azure RMS) for data protection. It is the component of Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS), and of course the prolific Office 365 is the productivity component.

Together, Office 365 and EMS enable your workforce to be productive on all their devices while keeping your organisation’s information protected. Office 365 with EMS is a complete, integrated suite for enterprise mobility inclusive of productivity, identity, access control, management, and data protection. It gives you an effective way to deploy and operate a mobility solution in your organization.

Importantly just like OMS, Intune can be easily integrated with System Center with a connection to Configuration Manager a Hybrid solution is created that uses Intune as the delivery channel for policies, profiles, and applications to devices but uses Configuration Manager on-premises infrastructure to store and administer content and manage the devices. A Hybrid implementation gives you “single pane of glass” control, which means you can use the same on-premises infrastructure and administrative console to manage mobile devices with Intune as well as PCs and Servers with the Configuration Manager client.
